Absolutely the BEST!!
Like other reviewers have said, these are a high-quality, well designed, last a lifetime product. They are so nice I actually look forward to using them. They are worth every penny. I like to grill over a wood fire, and the Super Skewer has no peers. The twin, thin, SS tines are easy to load, won't split the veggies, and the food stays put when you flip them. The wood handles keeps the burn cream in the cabinet. They are nice and LONG to bridge a gas grill with the grates removed, or to hold wieners and marshmallows over a campfire.
I bought both the regular and the heavy duty (thicker tines) super skewers and love them both. The regular are fine for standard kabobs, the heavy-duty will hold just about anything else you may want to grill. I am going to experiment using two or three skewers side by side (4to 6 tines) for roasts, whole birds, or maybe even fish.
If you know someone that kabobs, they would be shocked at the quality of these compared to what they are probably now using (hey, give a gift - get an invite to a great BBQ) Maybe the best thing about the super skewers is that they are made in the USA by a small business. I've been skewer grilling for 40 years, since I used to help my uncle with his catering business as a young boy. These are the best skewers I've ever used! They are very well made, with quality materials, and are just the right length to put on the grill with the wooden handles extending outside the hood area. No more burnt fingers and fumbling to turn the meat! The wooden grip is perfect and they are surprisingly light-weight too. And, the biggest advantage, meat doesn't spin around and veggies don't split. I love em, and have reordered for our new home. . . . By the way, shipment was very quick and the seller was a pleasure to deal with.

Very quick shipping and excellent communication from this excellent seller/manufacturer. These are long and beautifully made, with beefy, stay-cool wooden handles and long skewers that hold lot of goodies. They keep food from twirling on the skewer but tend not to split the veges as much as flat skewers. Worth every cent. I like them so much that I purchased another set as a gift for one of my best friends, a die-hard griller.
Great Barbecue Skewers
I have used these skewers for shish kabobs a number of times and they work great. The meat doesn't rotate on the skewer like with single prong skewers and the wooden handle makes sure you don't burn your hand like with metal skewers.

I loved the original "Super Skewer" so much, that I got a set of these too. These are a little heavier than the original ones, but with all the same great features, and are the perfect skewer for grilling half-chickens and . . . my absolute favorite . . . flank steaks. We do a lot of back-yard entertaining and everyone who comes over comments on how great they are. It's so nice not to have to struggle with tongs to turn meat that is already on a skewer . . . like I used to do with the silly, short skewers . . . and no more burning my fingers trying to grap the little metal rings at the end of my old ones. The seller has been very nice and shipped very quickly.

My wife and I have been trying to eat healthier. Less fried food and more fire cooked, fat burned grilling is our goal. I love cooking on the grille, all year round, and I'm always looking at new or improved grille accessories. When I saw these, I thought this would absolutely be the way to go. With shish-kabobs, we could cook the fat right off the meat, get some savory and health vegetables thrown in, and live longer in theory.
Well, we might need some skewers that will last as long as we plan to. I've purchased enough cheap BBQ products that last MAYBE two seasons before falling apart. Cheap skewers get rusty, and rust doesn't mix too well with food. Wooden skewers are basically one use, and I'm planning on a lifestyle change here - I really want something durable.
I turned these up on Amazon while searching, and I hoped they would be as good as advertised. I went with the six pack deal - enough for ourselves and guests. When these arrived, they looked and felt heavy duty. None of the skewer prongs were bent at all, and the handles looked really sturdy. My wife even commented on how good they looked (better than the picture, actually). For once, she didn't think I made another useless grill purchase.
Let me tell you (I already appear to be doing that), we used these about a dozen times, and they all that and a bucket of fat free chips. The double prongs ABSOLUTELY make rotation a breeze, and not one lost vegetable falling into the fire (I hate watching the end veggie fall into the fire while my stomach is grumbling - why do you mock me end vegetable)! I purhased a cast-iron smoker box (with hickory and mesquite chips), and they both go together VERY well. My wife loves the hickory chip smoked chicken and veggies combo meal. I found a kabob spice recipe on the internet, too, that we use. What a great way to cut the calories but keep the flavour. All the spices amount to hardly anything, and the smoked hickory flavouring is calorie free!
We couldn't be happier with this purchase. Do the kabobs right - don't waste another dime (or end vegetable) on junky skewers! One small hint: we recommend spraying the skewers with non-stick spray before cooking beef (or anything if you prefer) - everything slides off nicely.
